Make a detailed set of existing kitchen equipment. Have a tape measure and note how big is each piece of equipment. Check your documents and list energy‐‐both electric and/or gas and ventilation‐‐requirements. Choose a label on the gear with pertinent information. Have a picture of the gear and the label, or track record the model quantity and maker.
Utilize space for storing close to the kitchen. Use a little hallway closet for storing paper items, cereal containers and kitchen towels, for example. Find space in a laundry room close to the kitchen to set up a floor‐to‐ceiling food pantry cabinet. Locate thrown away space under a staircase to store large handbags of pet food, paper products and meals used only on holidays. Place casters on wood storage containers to hold these things, so everything is easy to go around.
